Kyli's Birthday card

My sweet little Kyli turned three yesterday and this is the card I will have for her when I pick her up this afternoon. She loves cupcakes, so I knew I had to use this image from My Favorite Things to make her card this year. Image is colored with Copic markers and the papers are from the Glitter Sweet Stack from DCWV. Touches of Stickles here and there. I colored some tiny half-pearls with a Copic marker to get a color to match her dress. Thanks for stopping in today. It's a glorious day here and I have lots planned. Enjoy your day!

Frosty Blue....Brrrrrr!!

Here's a card I got to make just because I wanted to!! Always a fun concept and I got to use this cute little image that I picked up last weekend!! Put a dog in the picture and I will probably buy it!! Add a chubby little munchkin and it's guaranteed!! This set is from My Favorite Things and I picked it up at Priceless, the LSS. I colored him with Copic markers. I was trying something different with the shading and I don't think it looks right, but I will chalk it up to a learning experience. just have that great eye for color and light that the great colorers have.

The papers are brushed silver, night of navy, marina mist and the dsp is from Bo Bunny. Tried to keep things fairly simple, but it started morphing out of control, as usual.

Friendship with Max and Whiskers

I needed a friendship card and I thought this cute image from My Favorite Things was perfect for the occasion. I love all the MFT images with the big pooches in them. Decided to use my newly purchased Max and Whiskers papers to go with it. I have to admit, the layout is completely borrowed from a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers, but as it was one of several I printed out on one sheet of paper, I don't know who to give credit...I'm sorry! Card stock used was Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, and Bermuda Bay. Perfect colors for the Play Date Cafe color challenge. Image is colored with Copic markers.
