I've been pretty busy with the new school year. I have to admit though, that I've had more time in the evenings than I've had in past years because we have switched to an earlier start time. That translates into an earlier release time. So, I am off the clock at 3 pm!! I still don't get out of there at that time most days, but even though I am getting home earlier, I am exhausted and am usually in bed at 8!!
I had some extra time this weekend and chose to spend it with a sweet little girl that looks a lot like the one in the image on my card! Okay, so my girl doesn't have that much hair anymore, but that's fine with me. Here she is showing off a tattoo she got at an end of chemo party for a two year old boy she met at clinic.
I think I made the best use of my time by spending it with Kyli!
Anyway, the card is made with a Kraftin' Kimmie image that I actually bought with the hubby's blessing. He thought it was too cute to pass up, too! I colored it with Copic markers and used some Vanilla Sunshine papers I won in a drawing at the LSS! I think they are a perfect match!!
Well, that's all for today. Hope everyone has a super Labor Day weekend!!

Someday My Prince Will Come
When I ordered the Puddles of Love stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie, I couldn't let that little sweetie travel alone, so I ordered this cutie to ride along with her. I just love this line of sassy images and I want all of them!! This was a lot of fun to color and went perfectly with the froggie dp I found at Priceless Scrapbooks (our local LSS and meeting place). I love all the glittery lily pads! Image is colored with Copic markers.

Puddles of Love
A couple of weekends ago, I was browsing the list of blogs I follow and I came across this image for the new release of images from Kraftin' Kimmie. I stopped everything and told hubby that I had to have this image. He, of course, rolled his eyes as if to say...."Sure you do...." Well, he went to refill his coffee cup and passed behind me and glanced down at the puter screen and said, "You HAVE to have that stamp!!" You see, this image looks so much like our sweet little granddaughter that even he agreed that she had to come to live in my stamp room. I ordered her immediately and she arrived this week. I finally got a chance to color up some of the images and make a card when I went to the Friday night crop down at Priceless Scrapbooks, the local SB store here. I used Lovely Lilac and So Saffron card stock and SU!'s Tea Party dsp. The image is colored with Copic markers. I added just a bit of stickles to her rain coat and hat and some dimensional glaze to the puddle of water she is tromping through. The border punch is by EK Success and the ribbon is some random stuff I picked up at the SB store. I used SU!'s oval punches for the sentiment.
