Well, tonight is the big night for our outgoing eighth graders and this is the keepsake invitation that will be going home with them. The back side has all the detes for them. The flourish is heat embossed with versafine black ink and clear embossing powder to minimize visible specks from the powder. The sentiment on the front was computer generated. The cupcake is punched with SU!'s cupcake punch from brushed silver and pale pink card stock. The cupcake is all glittered up with chunky glitter. I made 70 of these babies!! I also made bunches of black and white tea light roses for the tables. I'll have photos of those later, too.
The theme is "A Sweet Formal Affair" and everything is done in candy, cupcakes, and lots of formal black and white against a dramatic city skyline. I'll post more pictures of the decorating tomorrow. We were at the school until ten last night decorating the cafeteria and will be back up there in a few hours to put on the finishing touches, get the food ready, and, of course, get all dolled up ourselves to be ready by 7 this evening.
